Brits love a Beer. Back in the 13th century, St Paul’s Cathedral in London was producing almost 70,000 gallons of it and it’s still a huge part of the British culture even today.
“Fancy a pint?” might be a phrase you’ll hear, and “pint” translates to “a drink of beer in a pub”, but what type of beer should you choose?
About our Beer Discovery tour
With over 100 different styles of beer, we are taking you to the very best independent craft brewers in a secret London location where you will have the chance to try their vast range of beers – from lagers to ales, IPAs, porters, stouts, white beers and more.
Most beer tours in London involve several pubs, but we are taking you to where the golden liquid is born and made, not sold by the pint.
These bountiful brewers are opening their doors for this exclusive tour, for you to have the unique experience of seeing the breweries, learning how beer is brewed, and tasting plenty of it.
What’s included…
Meet your London tour guide and be whisked off to special London brewery location.
Typically, this London Beer Tour is booked on a weekday, when the area is closed to the public and we are provided with exclusive access to the breweries.
You will visit three exciting London breweries, small, independent, and craft brewers who are allowing us to take a sneak peek into their world of beer.
Each brewery will provide us with a tutor tasting, revealing how and why each beer tastes a certain way… Where you can decide which ones entertain your tastebuds the most!
There will be tours of the breweries and an opportunity to learn (and taste) absolutely everything there is to know about British beer.
A La Carte Tours & Events Beer Discovery Tour lasts 3 to 4 hours, and you will have the chance to try between 10 to 12 beers, choosing a couple of your favourites to take home with you.
We are able to run this tour on a weekend, but this will not include the private tutor tasting, as the area is open to the public. However, on a weekend, as it is open to the public there is an incredible atmosphere, hustle, and bustle of beer-lovers by the breweries! On a weekend, we go to more breweries (open to the public) and it feels more like a craft beer crawl (and tour).

Group size: 25 per group, multiple groups at the same time is possible.
- Pick up at the hotel/office by your private Blue Badge Tourist Guide
- Private visit to 3 craft brewers
- Experience how the beer is brewed and made
- Try and taste between 10-12 beers
- Take home a couple of your favourite beers
Not included: transport, which can be arranged upon request.
